The Press Releases only contain felony and misdemeanor arrest made by the Melrose Park Police Department and may not reflect the entire criminal history of a particular individual.  Any arrest on an individual who is / was a minor at the time of arrest will not be released in the Press Releases pursuant to Illinois Juvenile Court Act of 1987, 705 ILCS 405/5-905. Arrest records posted in the Press Releases are only accessible for one (1) year from the date they were posted in the Press Releases and they are removed from the website after that one (1) year period. A complete public record of Illinois criminal history can be obtained from the Illinois State Police Bureau of Identification.
